Photowalking
A photo walk is a social activity where individual or groups take pictures of their surroundings and create collections of interesting tableaus. Photo walks allow you to keep in mind the aesthetic and scenic value of the area. Consider taking your photo walk near architecture, history, urban or rural landscapes. Any area that draws the creative eye has the potential to become the subject of a photo walk.
Photo walks allow participants to engage intensely with the outside world and use their creative license to capture the world together.
We all carry a camera with use everywhere we go but how often do we stop and look at our surroundings in a new, initiative manner. Walking in nature or around new and unusual urban settings gets you out of the house, doing some exercise with a purpose.
Before you go, find as much information as you can about the places you’ll visit during the photo walk. Learn about the location’s history, the different activities in the area, the iconic spots you’ll encounter along the route, and any other interesting things you might want to capture in your photographs.
